TweetDeck (often typed “Tweet Deck”) still exists under a new name: X Pro, at pro.x.com. It is not free: X’s Premium page lists access to X Pro under “Only for Premium+ Tier”, and Premium+ starts at $40 a month or $395 a year on the web, before tax.

X Pro is one of several Twitter-era names that changed after Twitter became X. This guide covers what changed, what X Pro does, the closest free option and the alternatives.

What X Pro does

X Pro swaps the single timeline for columns you choose, side by side, and lets you connect several X accounts. X’s Premium page sums it up: “View multiple configurable timelines simultaneously which can refresh in realtime, advanced search, add contributors and admins to your account, and more.” Checked against X Help Center: About X Premium

X’s help page on X Pro lists:

  • Columns: Home, Notifications, Search, Lists, Communities, Explore, Bookmarked posts, Profiles, Messages (for one account) and Scheduled.
  • Accounts: several X accounts connected to one X Pro login.
  • Collections: collections of posts you build yourself.

Getting started takes three steps:

On x.com (computer):

  1. Go to the X Pro website (pro.x.com).
  2. Log in with your X account. We recommend that you use a X account that is not shared with other individuals.
  3. Once you're logged in, you can connect multiple X accounts to your X Pro account.

Free ways to get TweetDeck-style columns

For searches, X’s advanced search works on x.com whenever you’re logged in, though you run it yourself rather than watching a live column. Checked against X Help Center: How to use advanced searchArchived copy, 18 September 2026 View the archived copy

TweetDeck alternatives

The right replacement depends on what you used TweetDeck for: watching live columns, or publishing posts. For columns of X timelines, X Pro is X’s own tool. For publishing, scheduling tools post to X and often to other networks from one place.
